This cherry bowl has a grain pattern that twists and turns with irregular dark spots that raises one's curiosity as to what may be hidden inside the walls. There is also some sap wood that adds to the intrigue of this piece. It is finished with wipe on varnish which is buffed and waxed. You can put dry items in it but nothing damp. As needed you might use a quality furniture polish to wipe it down.
