Dana Reese Art

Growing up in south Georgia and as the daughter of a carpenter and very creative mom, Dana was always around something being built or made. Dana's passion for art took off the day she decided to start painting churches on old siding from her parents' house.  Dana's most popular pieces are her block angels, which she calls "soul sisters." Dana is a self-taught artist, evolving and learning from other artists via workshops and online classes. She primarily paints crosses, angels, churches, and florals, but is working this year to paint more animals (things with eyes)! Dana uses mostly acrylic paints with additives and pencils. Her style is somewhere in between expressionism, impressionism, abstract, and folk art. Her favorite thing to do is paint custom pieces!
